Growing up in First Baptist Church (now the Hackensack Gospel Church), Mrs. Horn had the privilege, as a teenager, of watching the inception of Bergen County Christian Academy. She graduated from BCCA in 1983 and went on to The King’s College in New York, where she earned her degree in Elementary Education. She also received her NJ State Certification in Preschool and Elementary teaching.
After receiving her education, Mrs. Horn returned to BCCA to teach 3rd grade and then 1st grade. She became the Elementary Supervisor in 2010 and then the Academy Principal the following year. Mrs. Horn is married to Philip, who she met at BCCA. They serve together at the Hackensack Gospel Church, where Philip is part of the pastoral team. We have three grown children, Mark (who is married to Elizabeth), Erik, and Krista.
