Having grown up at Bergen County Christian Academy (Hackensack Christian) from preschool through twelfth grade, Mr. Tierney is no stranger to the BCCA community. After graduating from BCCA, he went to Ramapo College of New Jersey, where he received his degree in Communication along with dual minors in marketing and digital filmmaking. After graduating from Ramapo College, he furthered his studies at New York University, from where he received his masters degree.
Returning to BCCA in 2021 as the Director of Marketing & Communication, Mr. Tierney is thrilled to be working in the administrative team’s efforts to promote BCCA and the mission of the school, as he focuses on branding, digital media, publications, press releases, and advertising. In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Mr. Tierney teaches English Language Arts for grades 6 and 7.
Mr. Tierney is also an active member of the Hawthorne Gospel Church, where he serves in both the Jr. High and Sr. High youth ministry. His passion is to come alongside students, encouraging them to explore their faith in a deeper sense, so they may become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
