“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
– 2 Timothy 4:7

Our desire at Bergen County Christian Academy is that students learn the many different aspects of life, including competition and athletics. Through involvement in athletics, students have the opportunity to learn discipline, practice physical skill, exercise control under pressure, build a sense of teamwork, and develop friendships. We strive to provide each student-athlete an adequate amount of participation and involvement on each team in proportion to his or her skill. It is not just the “star” of any team who receives awards, attention, or playing time; we view each student-athlete’s skill and attitude individually to determine reward and discipline. Sports are to be used as a vehicle to help develop our overall Christian values and Christian life.

In all aspects of practice and competition, students will show glory and honor to God.

Crusaders Have A Long Story

From their inception the Hackensack Crusaders have been a strong team!

For three solid years, our student-athletes have taken the soccer championship in the MCAA. In addition to soccer, Bergen County Christian Academy also offers basketball, volleyball, baseball, and softball to both boys and girls.

How To Participate?

Middle School level sports (grades 6-8) are primarily used for developing athletic skills and learning game fundamentals. All teams are encouraged to play their best and to win the game. However, the main reason that we play is to bring honor and glory to the name of Jesus Christ.
