Detail About How To Apply

If you would like to study at a Christian Academy in the heart of Bergen County, where opportunity is in abundance due to our close proximity to New York City, you’ve found the right place!

We do not use special formulas to select students. We look at every single application, academic and personal record, to select students who are well-suited to our school community.

The Application Process


Visit the Academy

Come visit an open house, or schedule a private tour of our campus. Prospective students may also shadow classes.



Complete our Academy Application Form which includes three recommendation forms, current report cards, disciplinary records, IEP records, and health and immunization records.



An administrative personnel will take both the parents and student for an interview.



The final steps are to complete Academic Testing, which includes payment for exam, and read & sign Parent/Student Handbook which includes the Controlled Substance Testing Agreement Forms. After satisfactorily completing all steps above, you are officially a Crusader!

Things To Know First

Our Academy Application is required for all students requesting acceptance to Bergen County Christian Academy.

You will need:

  • Contact your current guidance counselor in order to submit official transcripts, report cards, immunization records, and other required documents .
  • Request three current or former teachers submit recommendations for your application.
  • Submit the nonrefundable $150 application fee.

When To Apply?

At Bergen County Christian Academy, we have a rolling admissions; however we still encourage those to follow our suggested deadlines in order to receive benefits, scholarships, etc.

Educational Service

Bergen County Christian Academy was established by First Baptist Hackensack in 1973 as the need for a quality Christian school was apparent.

International Hub

In 2013, Bergen County Christian Academy officially began accepting international students through our I-20 program.


For three years in a row, our student-athletes took the soccer championship in the MCAA.

Successful Graduates

Many students choose to continue on to a four-year college, some choose to serve proudly in our United States Armed Forces, others decide to pursue technical careers or become successful entrepreneurs.
