At Bergen County Christian Academy, we want all our students to graduate with a biblical worldview. We believe that what distinguishes a Christian school are the lives transformed for Christ. At BCCA, biblical teachings are not something merely added to our curriculum; it is an integral part of every aspect of our school. The following are a few of the opportunities students have to grow in their spiritual walk.
Chapel is a time for students to come together once a week to open God’s Word and worship our Lord. Worship is led by our students. This is an opportunity to allow our students to develop leadership skills and praise the Lord! In addition to singing, middle school students are blessed to listen to guest speakers share the Word of God.
Worship band are made up of student leaders and musicians. They select, rehearse, and perform music to lead the middle school in worship during chapel. The team includes vocalists and combinations of the keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, and various other instruments. Students are also responsible for managing technical aspects of the worship such as slides, videos, sound, and stage setup.
Cornerstone Day Camp provides an exciting summer experience for all campers. We offer 2 fun-packed programs: Day Camp (Kindergarten thru 5th Grade) and Teen Camp (6th thru 10th Grade). Campers will go on two trips each week, one water/pool day, and two home days. We are located on the BCCA campus.
Located on the scenic Delaware River, New Life Island is a sleep-away Christian Camp that provides an exciting and Christ-focused experience. The Island is a special place where campers can have a great time and learn from the Word of God. Many campers make life-changing decisions at camp. That’s why we say, no one leaves the same.
